S. Wesley Compton is a trial attorney with Padilla Law Group whose practice is centered on criminal defense, alongside first- and third-party automobile litigation. Mr. Compton maintains an active criminal defense practice supported by extensive trial and litigation experience. Across his matters, he handles all phases of contested proceedings, including case evaluation, motion practice, negotiations, and courtroom advocacy. He has achieved significant results for clients, including notable settlements and trial victories in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties, reflecting his hands-on approach and depth of courtroom experience.

He is admitted to practice before all Michigan state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. These admissions enable him to represent clients in both criminal and civil matters across state and federal forums.

Mr. Compton has remained actively engaged in the criminal defense legal community. He previously served as a committee member and faculty speaker for the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM), contributing to professional education efforts and the continued advancement of criminal defense advocacy. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Trial Lawyers College and a member of the Michigan Association for Justice.
