Mark E. Cedrone is a highly respected white-collar criminal defense and tax litigation attorney, widely regarded for his strategic judgment and depth of experience in complex government investigations.

Over a distinguished 35-year career, he has represented individuals and businesses facing scrutiny from federal and state prosecutors, regulatory bodies, and administrative agencies, handling matters ranging from sophisticated tax and fraud cases to computer crimes, narcotics, and firearms offenses.

Mr. Cedrone advises and represents clients at every stage of the government enforcement and litigation process, including investigations, plea negotiations, trials, post-trial proceedings, and appeals. Known for his ability to tailor his approach to the specific needs of each client, he has successfully defended licensed professionals such as attorneys, pharmacists, realtors, and insurance brokers before disciplinary boards and regulatory authorities. His client base has also included high-ranking public officials, multinational corporations, and both small and large business owners.

A former law clerk and attorney adviser to the United States Tax Court, Mr. Cedrone brings particular authority to civil and criminal tax matters. His experience includes sensitive IRS audits, criminal tax investigations, trials, sentencing proceedings, tax appeals, voluntary disclosure matters, Form 8300 and money-laundering investigations, and complex collection and innocent spouse proceedings. He founded his own practice in 1992 after working in the Special Litigation Group at Duane, Morris & Heckscher, where his work focused almost exclusively on complex criminal and civil tax disputes.

Throughout his career, Mr. Cedrone has been a frequent speaker at conferences on white-collar criminal defense and tax litigation. He has been consistently recognized by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for White Collar Criminal Defense and has served as an executive member of the Temple American Inn of Court. In 2018, he was invited to become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honor reserved for the most accomplished trial lawyers in North America.
