F.R. Chip Dunne, III, is an accomplished trial attorney admitted to practice law in New Jersey and California, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is based primarily in the firm’s Springfield and Kearny, New Jersey offices, where he represents clients in complex and high-stakes matters across multiple areas of litigation including criminal defense litigation, personal injury, and medical malpractice.
Mr. Dunne maintains an active criminal defense practice, drawing on his firsthand experience within the New Jersey criminal justice system. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Kevin G. Callahan, J.S.C., in the Criminal Division of the Hudson County Vicinage of the New Jersey Superior Court. In this role, he gained valuable insight into criminal procedure, motion practice, and trial strategy, experience that now informs his vigorous defense of individuals facing serious criminal charges. He is known for his strategic approach, courtroom advocacy, and commitment to protecting his clients’ rights at every stage of the process.
In addition to criminal defense, Mr. Dunne represents plaintiffs in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, where he has successfully recovered substantial compensation on behalf of injured clients. His practice also includes select family law matters. He has been recognized for his litigation work by several professional organizations, including being named to Who’s Who in American Law, the National Association of Trial Lawyers – Top 100, and the National Association of Personal Injury Attorneys – Top 10.
Mr. Dunne earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he distinguished himself as a lead advocate in multiple mock trial competitions. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the Hudson County Bar Association.
